Thanks guys.. the first one was taken with the on-board flash, the others just natural light.. i think with B&W film its a lot more forgiving with flash than colour! :shrug:

i like the final one, though it's a shame the focus is on the whiskers, not the eye. they look a little over sharpened too, the hairs stand out just a little too much imo.

nice set.
 
You could be right Noah! when they were scanned i had the unsharp mask box ticked, and i also sharpened them in Ps.. i thought they looked a little over sharp but wasnt sure! i dont think its way over, just noticable if you are sensitive to it maybe.. Like me and you!! lol..

Tabbies (Tabbys???) are my favourite cat. They have attitude and I think you caught that just right. Last one a classic pose IMO.
 
no it's not much over at all, i only notice it as i've a friend who picks me up on it all the time! it doesn't detract from the shots.
 
I like number 3 the best - its a lovely pic and you have captured the pose beautifully!
