I know the clothing isn't ideal neither is the backpack. Any other critique ?

The light on his face is lovely I would just crop in much closer to remove the harness for the backpack.

Agree with the crop to remove the harness, and also the white door? to the left and about the same of the right for symmetry.

Can you recover any details from the shadows (just a smidge)?
