Nicely spooky :)

For 'FORGOTTEN' there's an interesting (you can be the judge of that) group of Flickr that's called TLOP. Things Left On Posts.

Though the definition also extends to chairs, fences, gates etc.

This would fit right in as it's perfect for the FORGOTTEN theme.

Ta, I'll check it out.

Somebody is going to miss that jacket as it gets colder...
Actually no, it was my daughter's coat and I set it up for the shot..... is that bad lol.

Nice one.. great reflections and love the wonky grin!
Ta, that one was Abi's shes 4 lol. The reflection is our hob.

Week 44 Captive & Technique Wide Angle

Week 45 Snapper choice
I've gone again for Captive & Wide Angle, as this is a captive barn owl taken at The Hawk Convservancy Trust in Andover. These days they fly several birds without jesses.

Wowza! Fabulous :)

Great shot Nicky, well exposed to show the feathers like that.
Thanks, I went for aperture priority +2 ev to avoid it being a silhouette against a completely white sky. I can't honestly explain why the sky isn't completely blown out which is what I was expecting.

Week 46 Wall
Two from me this week, I took the ivy shot as I have recently reclaimed the wall but then I spotted these amazing shadows... what's a girl to do except post two.

Week 47 - Autumn

The wind has stripped my garden of most of it's autumn colour, so here's an ICM image of the last remaining leaves on my liquidambar tree.

Wall - love the shadow shot, just my sort of think.

Autumn - Nice ICM. Our Liquidambar is our favourite tree, such colours!

The shadow photo is great, good choice, even though I like the ivy too.
Thank you, it was impossible for me to resist the shadows lol.

Glad I inspired you with the Liquidambar.

I do like the shadow shot.

And if you've ever clicked on my 52's you'll know I umm and ahh a lot before posting so I think two is perfectly acceptable.

And I really like the Autumn one. Unusual and clever take on the theme.
Thanks, I appreciate the comments.

Dramatic owl shot, did you duck
Shadow shot is lovely, well spotted
Lovely Autumn colours and good idea to use ICM to add a few more leaves/colour

Nice ICM that boosts the warm colours
Thanks, ICM is great when you just need to produce something and aren't feeling very inspired.

The owl shot was done with a remote trigger at a photography day at the Hawk Converservancy in Andover. The owl is trained to land on a platform, so you just place your camera next to it and fire it from a few feet away, cheating really but I've no wish to decieve anyone.

Wall - well spotted, lovely capture
Autumn - I really like this.. great colour and sums up the theme nicely.

Arrows, made me smile
Wet, lovely colours and shot. Might be interesting as a macro shot? and same question as Alan above
Old, good subject and processing

Love that

Both very effective.
How was “wet” done?

Thanks, Wet was done by removing the front from a speaker, stretching a black dog poo bag (clean of course lol) tightly over the top, adding some acrylic paint and then playing some very loud music, the vibrations from the deep bass cause the paint to jump, and mix. You get 3 or 4 jumps before you have to clean up and start over.

Week 52 - My Favourite Image of 2023
It's got to go to my one and only Diesel, who sadly passed away just a few weeks after this image was taken.

He was a gorgeous boy. It's always hard when a loved pet passes on.
