Natural river art

I can see why you took this Donna the shapes patterns and the lovely colors in the rocks/pebbles work very well.(y)

I can see the attraction, it's well spotted. I like the different clusters of different sizes. Something about it doesn't work for me but I'm not sure what. Usually I'd say try in b&w but I really like the muted colours of the pebbles.
 
Thanks Byker, I think I see what you mean, there is a bit too much. Maybe a crop of the right hand side would simplify the shot making it stand out more?
 
nice just don't quite work for me perhaps a longer lens to flatten perspective?
