Dave, I did try it in b & w and it just seemed to look a bit ermmm... well lacking something. The sand and sky IMO looks better in colour
 
I think you could be right. I would be more than happy with that.
 
Nice take, I agree try it converting into B & W it might give better outcome. That being said I still like the colored version.
 
Great shot(y)(y)(y)(y) 1 thing have a look at it with cutting some of the beach out of the photo so it's not so central(just my opion) A*
