Well, having shot almost exclusively superwide landscapes and macro for the last couple of years, I decided it was time to expand my repertoire and lens collection.
Initially, I was planning on getting a Tamron 28-75 2.8 for pano work, but have ended up getting a bunch of old manual lenses instead
For £100 on ebay I got a Tamron SP 28-80, Tamron SP 35-210, Tamron 2x TC, Nikon 50mm 1.8 AI-S and a SB-16 flashgun (which I intend to sell), all in fantastic condition. And with what I saved compared to the 28-75 I've also bought a Falcon 85mm 1.4 (also manual).
Actually learning to focus is going to be amusing after spending years getting away with murder due to practically infiinte depth of field at 10mm
No idea what I'm going to shoot with the primes... never been one for people/cats/wineglasses/oof treetlights really
35-210 seems to be doing the job though...
Leith eastern harbour (7 shot pano, quick and dirty edit on my laptop, downsized from 15k to 5k pixels across):
