Hi everyone, a little advice please.am i right in thinking that a nikon 70x200mm af-s nikkor f2.8g ed vr11 lens,will not fit a nikon d80 camera body,thank you in advance!.:shake:
 
It will fit and work fine, why do you think it won't?
 
D80s will fit both AF and AF-S lenses, only thing you shouldn't try to fit are very early pre-AI lenses (usually have bunny ears).
 
jpw,thank you so much for your valued advice!, in d80 guide manual it says type( G and d) fit, lenses, but the 70x 200mm is an (f) fit.thats what put me off. regards.
 
F is the mount G and D are the designations. It will fit fine, and be bloody good too.
