Was working in someone's garden today moved a small pot and this little chap was fast asleep, had to move him so took a couple of pics on my phone!!!

Thanks for all the great comments, I was just starting the day and I was pi****ing down with rain it was a nice interlude!!! Used to find these boys in my nan's compost bin when I was a young'n!! Never found 1 this small!!!

It's a slow worm (Anguis fragilis) a legless lizard

used to find these daily in my back garden as a kid, i couldn't tell you the last time i saw one, it must of been at least 15-20 years ago
