Official Talk Leica thread

You kept that quiet Trev
Me !! Don’t know what happened there…

Does that put more pressure on ?

I was looking at a used one in a local dealer yesterday (not yet on thier website) and I was given domestic permission................................ (voluntarily, I didn't have to ask :D) .......all that is stopping me at the moment is me!! I need to do a lot of thinking and probably go and have a session with my mate's Q2M .......nothing is going to happen quickly (and maybe not at all :ROFLMAO: )

In a word.......yes :ROFLMAO:

Not sure i'd stump up that much cash for a Q2M though if I already owned a GFX, Q3 is the way to go imo.

Hi, pics of parked bikes can be difficult, because they are so close together ... (M9 - VOIGTLÄNDER Ultron 2/28 v2 f 2; crops):

f 5,6 :

The yellow arc was the start of a vintage rally (f 4 ; crop). Lots of people, some taking pics there :

Lots of people, a little upstream, too (f 4 ; crop) :

So, I stopped taking Leica car pics. I went to a less crowded side street to take car pics with an AF SONY ... :

Pure Indulgence here.
Q2 spot metered. Single point.
I'd intended to process all these in Mono, I'd set the EVF to mono before pressing the shutter.
However, I'm really impressed with the feel of the colour from RAW.
Thread spamming coming up.
I also had a 1/4 Black Mist filter fitted. Not entirely sure it was needed.

These look great Trevor. I’d be interested to know how how hard you can crop in and still have a useable file.

Thanks @trevorbray thats most appreciated. I’ll take a look when I get a chance later to look on the big screen.

Wondering if the Q2 would suffice my needs in the woods along with my M10 for what I do with my images.

Works for me mate.

Buongiorno! The Lambo was not allowed to park between the MASERATI at their Frankfurt meeting, which gave me time and space to take a few pics

A crop upscaled from 475K. Not bad for a low-res body, I think ... :

I haven't had the Leica 100~400mm out much this year.

Sidmouth's (very small) airshow was on again last Friday, so it seemed like a good idea to take the lens and a G9, to see what could be seen. It was, frankly, a miserable, wet and cloudy afternoon with what light there was coming from behind the aircraft. There were only 4 teams appearing but they did a good best.

First up was the Stampe Formation Team, flying their WW2 era biplane trainers...
