My second attempt at flowers, after some handy C+C last time i have tried to avoid the soft focus.

My main criticism would be why have you put the bloom over to one side of the frame and included all that clutter on the other two thirds of the image? I would guess you are using that (to me anyway) ridiculous rule of thirds.

Thanks for your input, i was indeed following the Guide of thirds but perhaps it shouldnt be used to quite the same way you would often apply it on landscapes

Maybe a different crop and some brightening up would help it stand out
