Hi all

Looking for my first DSLR and have come down to 3 options which can fit in budget, hopefully.

350D was my initial choice before I found that I could potentially get an A200 for about the same price, yet there are not lenses available so cheaply or easily for the Sony...

Then the D50 came up and I got even more confused about what to get.

I've tried out a D40, a 400D and an A230, and get on equally with the interfaces, probably prefering the Sony out of the lot and the Nikon just behind.

So what do I go for? I'd probably start with the kit lens and then try and pick up some other cheap lenses.

I don't want to spend much money, hopeing to start off for under £250 really!

Have been offered a pretty much unused A200 with kit lens in box for £200... do I take it?

Cheers
Jordan

there are - & remember that they will all be image stabilised on an A200 ...
+1 for taking it at £200 if it's all there (charger, battery etc.).

Am collecting it tommorrow, subject to me giving it an inspection. Supposedly only been used once or twice as an unwanted gift, and in absolutely perfect condition. We shall see. I'll walk if it's anything less :)

The sonys are a very good camera for image quality so for that price ignore slight marks
