Orton Flower

I remember trying an Orton Effect years ago, and haven't done this for yonks, but I dropped a flower onto a piece of black perspex tonight and used Photoshop to create the Orton Effect with a darkened vignette.

Bit arty and different?

It's a very useful tool when applied very subtle you hardly even see it.
Woodland scenes especially benefit.
