That is an excellent shot, one of the best tiger/bigcat images I've seen for a while.

that is a cracker! Are you sure he wasn't on some "great hunter's" wall?? The focus is spot on.

:agree: great picture

That's brilliant. All the shading etc is just perfect.

Lovely picture and beautifully presented!

that is a bit nice :)

Superb shot with excellent exposure. I like the frame too..:)

Just a slight shame that the top of the head is missing but a really nice shot mate. Well done.(y)

Hi PPP, South Lakeland Wildlife Park, couple of weeks ago. Spent a couple of days there. Very impressed. Know what you mean about the ears Busterboy, it was a quick shot, on our way for a cuppa when he walked past us and into the sunlight. Just been looking, I've got nice full head shot of him at 5.6 with the focus on the eyes and nice dof towards the back of his head. I just like this one with the shadows, a bit more original than the standard headshot that everyone does.

what a great shot to see for my first look at a thread here!

wow!

That dark background really makes this shot zing! Difficult exposure to make.... be proud of it.
