Oxford City

I moved to Oxford recently to study and these are the first set of pictures that I've shot. Taken about a month ago I think. I like to go out with just one prime lens and challenge myself to shoot with it. Thoughts?

1-3 seem just a bit too dark, like you're trying to make something look brooding when it isn't really. I liked No.2 for the reflection, but it doesn't stand out quite enough.

Now 4 is great, and although I'd like the punts brighter, the way you've composed the frame is very effective. Nice shot.
