Ahoy TPers,

I'm taking some product shots of beer cans for a local micro brewery as a favour and also for this week's college course.

I have a access to a full studio set plus infinity table, but only a limited amount of time so I have to be quick.

I've been reading @Garry Edwards excellent ebook, thank you sir.

I am going for plain white backgrounds.

Anything else I should consider?

Condensation on tin etc? I also have two beer glasses too.

Thoughts please and sorry can't do any samples.

Hmmm good point - trouble is all I have is one flash (ex-480) and a godox brolly/soft screen.

I may have to forgo the glasses and just get the beer cans.

Or shoot just the cans first - 8 in total . A bit like a production line.

Then shoot with the can and its contents in the glass.

Was considering spraying the tins with a bit of glycerine at the very end. But will give that a miss as it's all ale not larger.

Do you have to shoot them in a studio? Craft Beer needs a rugged wooden ‘set’ not a sterile white backdrop.

Hmm, yes, you're right, but for the college exercise and possibly for future web use.

But you have me thinking.

If the brewery want to use the images for advertising then a a bar type background, you could do it with a white background for college as well
