Thanks for the comments everyone You're right, the light is from the roof-window but unfortunately as Carl has spotted, we were in a bit of a tight spot! With very little room to maneuver the only thing I could do was to angle the camera so that the highlight was on the window rather than the bodywork.

1 has a nice composition but i think you have overlit the background - don't need to see all the detail as it takes you away from the car.

3 is my favourite - great composition, a few highlights in the background perhaps technically a distraction but they add some mood to the scene.

highlights/reflections on the car are a little messy - did you use a cpl filter?

The chap who owns the car is also chairman of the motor club in which the car is photographed. #1 is a shot to show the car in this context, as opposed to just showing the car.

A CPL was used (with images stacked) and the car lit with a phone torch.
