Hi Everyone.

Shot this picture of our 1 year old son over the weekend. No fancy lighting, just a window light.
Let me know your thoughts - Is it one to keep or one for the bin?

With regards to processing, no 1 is minor tweaks in PS and no 2 is processed with a combination of florabella actions.

Sharpness looks way off to me, but somehow the right eye seems to be in focus regardless?

Don't know how you managed that ;)

But I would bin the shot, if it's one you can easily reproduce in better quality.
 
He's very cute! These look a bit soft though, and I would maybe not crop in as tightly as this, it would be nice to see his hands and a bit more of his head. I prefer the 2nd edit, its bright and punchy. Definitely some memories to treasure!

Have to agree, sorry :(

Look at it this way, you have a permanent in house model that you can practice on all the time, just keep snapping! I don't keep every single photo of my daughter, just because "she's my daughter", if it doesn't meet my standards, I bin them. Gotta love digital! :)
