I recently picked up some new kit, all recommended by members on here, so thanks guys! (y)

The items are:
Nikon SB900
Calumet 60" Silver/White Umbrella (too large though, i'm going to buy smaller)
Calumet Swivel Umbrella Adaptor

I had a great day on Sunday, I took portraits of Delia with some fantastic (well, i'm very happy!) results, I thought i'd post a few of the best on here for your opinions.

Editing: Crop, Levels, Clone Tool, Spot Healing Tool.

Enough talk, heres the shots:

I like them all. #3 is my fave though, that expression is super.

Thanks for the comments so far guys!

Nice shots mate, especially considering how little time you've had that gear :)

She has great hair. One thing: the whites of the eyes could do with a kick on #1, bit grey!

I'm not too sure how do make the eyes pop out, I gotta look into this. Thanks for the advice!

Great shots m8,she is lovely(y)

#3 and #5 thanks: you're keeping us all happy!

i really like this set but i think i am bias as i love big brown eyes!

Lovely shots of a lovely lady. No 4 is my fav, but all are excellent.

Brilliant shots here - well done! I'd be tempted to tryand tidy up some of the fly away hair on some of them though. Good poses and a pretty GF!

Thank you all for the comments, i'm very pleased as is Delia with both the comments and the photos! I can't wait for my next shoot which is going to involve some Henna and maybe Asian clothing too.

Here are just a couple more photos from the set.

First off, this is my progress on editing #3. As suggested by a few people, I went back to this image to clean up some of those loose hair.
