Hey guys,

Haven't posted in a while as i'm wrapped up in B+W uni projects etc that're taking up all my time! Managed to get out today and shoot some skating in Portsmouth and I'm personally quite happy with the results! They can be viewed (ideally) as a set here;

But here's a few of my favourites;

I think they work better within the set, so if you liked them be sure to check it out (y)

Thanks for looking,

Tom

Sadly the first thing that struck me was the location here. There's enough places to skate without needing to use the war memorial- and on Remembrance Day? :nono:

I have to agree with you, I did mention this to them and said I wasn't comfortable with it. But, my job was my job for the day.

I like the 3rd image, where the guy has obviously hurt himself, while a sign above no doubt says no skateboards or bicycles....

Good photos, just need a better location. Such as a skate park...

Thank you.

We did hit up a skatepark, but the guys weren't feeling it that much, too many kids on scooters. They preferred the street spots so we stayed there for the majority of the time. (y)

I still feel they work better as a whole set though rather than the select few!

Too far away from the subjects for me.

Why's that? I think the idea of capturing extreme sports is to show the environment they're situated in. If I had a shot that was way close up, it would not give a perspective of what they're doing or what's actually going on.
