Trying my hand at blending layers and textures in Photoshop. This was the snail shell merged with several copies of an image of a curled up caterpillar using various blended layers to create an almost mother of pearl look. This isn't usually my kind of processing but thought I would give it a go after watching a talk on it the other day.
