I am only learning so all I can tell you is I placed my soft box to my left and that was the only light source.
She was in a hurry so just had to fire off a few and I think I just got lucky :)

Beth I will give you a laugh.
This was the grey colour we spoke off and I ordered a 9ft roll of it.
My garage is where I thought I would use it but sadly it was not wide enough. Hubby took a foot off the roll for me on the night we took this shot.i was so excited about using it and to my dismay lol! I could not roll it out as my shelfing was in the way. Not to beaten I set up, called to Charly who walked out and then we had to get her to sit down as she was too tall :) So not a great first night.
I did measure before ordering but did not take into consideration that I needed to add room at the sides for my paper stands OOft! what a numpty Good job I got a nice image of her :)
We have an old sandstone house with high ceilings so I will move inside next time.
 
That's lovely, nice catchlights too. A bit tighter than I would have cropped it but thats my personal tastes!!
