Yeh like this a lot, my kinda shot and I'm digging the contrast! I don't mind the pole but I'd crop a fraction off the bottom to get rid of that semi circle below the p0le, that's what distracts my eye!

Nice bit of photoshopping - the pole in the original almost feels like a pin in the eye when comparing.
