Recommend me some good lens cases for a 17-85mm IS lens and a 70-300mm IS lens.

I`m after some good lens cases to protect the lenses ive just bought which are both Canon, they are 17-85mm IS and 70-300mm IS.

The velcro type padded cases would suit me best i think, i`m not after ones that cost the earth but decent ones at a reasonable price. Any recommendations will be appreciated.
 
I keep all my lenses (except the super-tele's) in Lowerpro Lens Cases like these. They do the job okay and offer enough protection without being too heavy when out and about.

Bob i seem to remember a few weeks ago you posted s PDF file (or a link to one) with all the Lowepro bags and which lenses they were suitable for!
Any chance of yourgood self digging it out again :)

I bought a few of the Sigma green cases off fleabay a couple of years ago.

Browse around and see what takes your fancy and if necessary contact the seller to confirm the internal dimensions.
 
My old Canon EF 75-300 4-5.6 fits just right in a Lowepro 2S, if that's any use?:shrug:
 
Lowepro (just bought a 4 for my 70-400) or Calumet's own brand looks OK.
fforde's are having a bit of a clearance on some Lowepro lens cases.
