recommended camera setup for day in London

i am going for a day trip to London in a few weeks. I have a nikon d90 and was wondering what setting i should have my camera set to before i go, eg metering and other settings.

I would say what ever the situation requires will be the most popular answer, but you will not go far wrong with matrix metering and leave it in aperture priority, let the camera do the work and you should only have to get involved if the lighting or scene is confusing for the camera.

thanks m8, i just wondered as i have downloaded some d90 setup sheets that give settings for landscape etc, i just wanted to know what settings people use for in city building photography
