Spent the last few weeks up at Loch Sunart.

Plenty of roaring on the hills but this guy seemed content spending his time hanging about on the Loch shore.

They're fairly short focal lengths and in terms of dof, I couldn't really position myself to get the distance between subject and background that I'd have liked however I guess it shows him amongst native autumn woodland.

A very good set with no4 being my pick. I like the background & his stance.

Cheers - light wasn't the best being late in the day and I got a right royal soaking too.

Aye, it can be a bit damp at Sunart! I was over there last month, great spell of weather too.

We had clear blue sky and sunshine for a week and hurricane wind with horizontal hail the next week LOL

Still, I'm there often enough to accept whatever is thrown at me.

Lovely set ... on my to-do list, somewhere!

Good set, and I think you've achieved the best subject/background separation in the last one, which is why it's my favourite :)

Cheers Tim - a bit more distance behind in that one.
