First time I used my new 400 f5.6. Not exactly a classic perch, he landed on an ornamental gate just as I finished setting up the tripod and gimbal.



I'm finding this 100-400 more difficult to use than I'd expected, most shots simply aren't as sharp as I want mostly due to a low shutter speed.
Then I got this at a ridiculously low 60th.

Nowt wrong with a metal perch Laurence. Birds land on man made objects too! Looks like the OS kicked in for the second one, however its still looks a touch underexposed even at 1/60!
