Congratulations on your first Ken, but I agree with Pikingpirate above on the shadows, branches and crop. Not easy I know when they perch in bushes.

#1 is a cracker, love the contrast between the red of the branches and the white and black of the bird.

I like the 1st one , just a slight niggle with the OOF twiglet.

I think they should be renamed Branch Warblers, because most of the time they are on a branch and not on a reed.
