Taken today is it any good
It looks very nicely captured Ray but the final image appears a little over-sharpened on my monitor...or it's just personal preference. I think that dumming down a tad would bring the budgie out even more by removing the distraction of the seeds.

I find it difficult editing the background it starts ok then goes blacker and blacker
One of those things probably best done in-camera ... :shrug: ... throwing it more out of focus would blend the distractions ...
