Hello,

this was taken earlier this evening at kimmeridge bay on the jurassic coast.

Another promising sunset turned into a bit of a damp squib as the sun disapeared behind the low level cloud.

The sea was really quite rough and it was rather blowy to put it mildly, and i was prompted to leave when a large section of the cliff plummeted to earth just behind me!

Any comment or critique welcome.

Thanks

Very moody shot, I really like it.

Looks pretty good Ewan, was that a blended exposure, or were you using a ND Grad filter? Or am I barking up up the wrong tree? :)

Nice one Ewan, busy as hell down there lately I imagine. The sunsets don't seem to be good lately, hopefully they will improve soon!

http://www.speedgraphic.co.uk/ - still have some LEE filters in stock.
cheers!

well it was pretty dead when i went down there, although that might have had something to do with the gale force winds. I think even the surfers might have had second thoughts!

theres been a couple of ok sunsets recently, but they always seem to be on weekdays, and there long over by the time i get home from work.
