Renault at Silverstone

They are a little late given we have had a few posts since the event, been a little busy and only just got round to processing them. I think I have oversharpened them a little too much as I did it again saving them for web.

First attempt at motorsport panning and I had to bin so many shots as I wasn't very good. Going into a new area of photography always gives me greater admiration for the people who do it already.

These are brilliant. SHarp and not over-exposed. 2 and 4 are my favourites!

nice shots, think 4 is my favourite, the way the light illuminates the blue half of the chassis on the side pod is nice. i kinda feel the cars in 5 and 7 look a little lost in the shot, although 200mm from that spot is not easy, i've never managed to get a good one from there.

I hope to get out to a few local motorsports events over the summer as landscapes is my normal thing and the light is often just not a good in the summer with the haze.

Although it's not cheap, the next one for me is likely to be the Silverstone classic event towards the end of July.
