Ringed Plovers

Looks like you have melted it with NR. The second one isn't in focus and both too central imo.
 
Re-try from the original or add gausian blur to the background.
 
I only have elements 12 and am still very much a novice.

1) I don't think it is due to NR as the original is the same

2) Sadly I have to agree re focus.
