Unfortunately I missed the 3 sunny days a year in Scotland by a week............maybe get better light next year

even later on/earlier on light can be kinder, but if its flat and grey all day, just leave the camera in the bag, its not worth taking the image in light like this

with the big chunk of blown sky, I doubt it. I'd probably delete it, or keep it as a memoior of the place and go back and shoot it when I am back, hopefully under better condtions

As far as I'm aware the Don does not go through Balmoral, it's the Dee down there.
