Nice shot. I think it might have worked better from a slightly different angle though - I find the out of focus left eye a bit distracting at the moment.

thanks for the comment, yea i do want to try some different angles, he was laying in his basket when i took this and i was trying not to include any of the basket (its ugly lol)

I think a tight crop often works well...and this one is pretty good. Did you consider upping the exposure and/or contrast a bit? This shot seems to be about a half-stop underexposed and a little flat as a result. The eyes are too dark and lacking in detail that would also probably come out if you play with it a bit in PP.
