Got here a touch too late for what I wanted so had to make do with the sun higher than I wanted. Seems a nice place for a good walk though and should provide some nice photos in future. just like the winter sun feel to this one,

Winter sun is just incredible and you've got that in spades here. Wasn't sure if I liked the process treatment, thought perhaps a little lower key in the fields at the back would be more to my taste.

The more I look though the more I think it's just great the way you've made it.
 
^ thanks very much (y)(y) its a 7 exposure handheld HDR which was a nightmare as the sheep were ever so slightly terrified of me and started to run.
 
Very good and a scene not often portrayed.

not far from the road at all, as you come off M62 (manc bound) at saddleworth take the left and then a few mins after the roach coach on the right there is a farm shop/ deli, just over the road from there is a footpath, started on there then got called into work so had to go back :(
