Sails

Hi Steve, I like this shot very much. I'm not normally a lover of sunsets etc but this shot ticks the boxes for me. You've managed to still retain a bit of detail in the shadows and the way the distant clouds are receding really works and gives the shot depth. Thanks for showing it.(y)

Yes - like this a lot - the mono colour works really well and skilfully processed
 
There's a bit of flare which was probably unavoidable - if you take the sun out of the frame it doesn't work - but I really like the light, the monochrome effect and the cloud formations. It's just so peaceful as well.
