A few from my recent visit up to Cairngorms again. This time it is wet, windy and snowing.

Hope you all enjoy.

Cheers,

Hi. Nice set. No. 3 for me with other deer out of focus. but all in all you done well.

#4 instantly hits the sweet spot for me (y). But I like them all.

No2 is the better of the bunch in my opinion, that said they are all good

Les ;)

A real nice set, but I love the expression of #1 (y)

Great set, like them all but number 4 is my favourite :)
Thanks Mike

Excellent shots! Shame about the clipped eat in 1. Pick of the bunch for me is #2
Thanks Phil, this was a crop image so I could revive the clipped ear if I wish to.

Super set - it's always nice to see them in the snow.

Just heading over there this morning but not for photography unfortunately

Thanks all,

Phil its easy for you since your about an hour away whilst I am nearly 10 hours :D

That's true.

I'm normally in and around Pitlochry so nice and handy but I often have to arrange (aherm) short work meetings with colleagues from Inverness so the Hilton Coylumbridge Hotel at Rothiemurchus is an ideal meeting place :naughty:

Stunning!!

How did you get so close to these beautiful creatures?

Really, really like these shots - awesome!

I like all of the pictures you've posted :)

:ty: all, I did not get too close as I am using my EF500mm :canon: most of the time and they are big mammals so it appears that they are close to me :)

I'm getting envy now Phil, but another upcoming trip to the Highlands in 2 months time, can't wait :plus1:

By the way, my image 11 has been selected as a feature to upcoming BBC Winterwatch programme on 20th January 2014 ... http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p012msk2

Congratulations Robin

I've had a couple of images shown on Autumnwatch and Springwatch but just the bit where they quickly show a few viewers pics.

Whereabouts are you staying on your next visit ?
