These were taken during an exercise on an extensive live-range. This Sea-King was brought in at the last minute to perform as part of the exercise.

Cracking shots Grez - you're making me jealous. I like 2,3 and 4 best. If pushed, then #3 for the top spot.

Very nice. I particularly like number 4.

I always like to see "yellow helicopter" shots as my Dad used to be involved with them at RAF Kinloss.

I've never managed yet to take a picture of a helicopter and have the blades showing motion, I always shoot with too fast a shutter speed :bang:

Great pictures- I like the race against the crow:LOL:

The guys do an amazing job and the yellow taxi has saved a couple of mates- one avalanched and one who decked- much respect to their skill and dedication.

Thanks again folks. You're right, my experiences of the SAR crews is that they're both extremely skilled and highly professional. I didn't go up in this one, but the last time I shot a Sea-King at work we were hovering over a boat on the North Sea. Even in the tricky winds, the pilot kept the helo inch-perfect in position.

Really great shots. Lovely clean Sea King.
