Seascape/Moonscape

I've been trying to get a moonscape image from this location but I haven't managed to get the image I'm after, this still isn't but I'm heading in the right direction and I now feel I'll be able to get the image I'm after, if I can catch the moonrise and tide at the right time. This is a very technically challenging image to make as the exposures are so different so if anyone with any experience of this type of shot would like air their views I'd be very interested. This a 3 image exposure blend trying to retain some detail in the moon but still trying to keep it looking bright enough to illuminate the sea.

I really like this. looks very peaceful. think the light from the moon on the sea works lovely if this isn't the image your totally after I cant wait to see it when you get there!

Good effort! Agree these are technically very tricky as the moon is so bright - only way really to do it is to take a completely different shot of the moon and chop it into the landscape. Somewhat unsatisfactory!

Very nice, my only comment would be that the rocks in the foreground need to be a bit lighter to allow more detail to come through
