Yes
...... with my camera of course (y)

This one helped itself to some left over ham & was taken through the double
glazed kitchen window. Lighting was by a security light.

The image quality is pretty poor as it was just 'grabbed' at the time.

Im happy with my first fox shot & hope to get another chance with more prep
time.

I think a security light is a new one for the strobism era!!

Well caught under the circumstances.. looking forward to seeing some improvement :)

Ouch - high ISO :O.

Yep, the result of leaving the camera at previous settings whilst messing
around :(

I did grab a couple of some cats later with lower iso but they were very dark.

Thanks Phil, I may go hide in the shed tonight & play 'stakeout'

Hope you dont mind me having a mess with your image, I can remove if you like, just run noise ninga and added some contrast.

Dont mind at all but it looks a little too soft & 'drawn' to me.

Very well done you :)
I see Mr Fox most evenings when I'm out with the dog, but it's always just after dusk and way too dark for the cam.

Your shot may be grainy it may be, but what I wouldn't give for my first fox shot (y)

I prefer the original but look at the grass that is in focus compared to the eyes/nose!

Methinks your setup is front focusing?

Is front focusing random or consistent & how would I check?

Its probably my lack of experience holding a Sigma 120-300 in poor light with
a slow shutter trying to get a moving target

You might be right and it's possibly just where the focus point has hit the target.

Do a search on here, there are quite a few threads on front/back focusing.
