That would be £6,099rrp in the UK then, wasn't expecting this level of pricing from Sigma!

Well given the recent sigma releases hopes would be his that this would follow in a similar vein. However if that price is translated into sterling in this country it's going to have to be very good to generate sales give that Canon 500 f4 is only £1500 dearer.

I'd expect it to settle at around £5k retail based on their other lenses. The Canon rrp in 2012 appears to have been £9K so between inflation and the Brexit debacle £6k seems right.
