Critique Singapore December 2013 - a few Fisheyes and more.

I was in Singapore last week for two days - captured a few shots while having a wander around.. Some with the Canon 8-15mm Fisheye - others with the 24-70....

You either like fish eyes or you don't.

I don't.

I like the night shot and the b&w and Christmas shot. Well composed and exposed and good intersting subjects.

I agree - fisheyes work for some - but not for others.

It was certainly an interesting trip

I quite like the 1st fisheye but the 2nd looks as though it needs a tweak CCW - last three are the best for me

As said, you either like fisheyes or you don't. Here's a hint, mine is my most used prime! Have to agree with Gramps that the second one needs straightening though. Like the colours in #3.

I like this set. You could get too many fisheye shots, but every now & again. BtW, in No 3 is the mid-distance littered with those big white plastic balls? Last time I was in Sing was Nov 2009 & the bay was littered with the things, covered in seasonal messages. If so, I guess it happens every year??
