This image depicts no doubt for me the adage “you sly old fox”. Straight out of Camera. With this focal length I feel the image a little soft with the light conditions yesterday .

You certainly caught the moment with that one.
Yes I agree its a little soft and a little dark too.
But both are easily rectified with a couple of clicks in photoshop, should you so desire .

The looking up shot reminds me of the Jake Thackray song "Bantam Cock."
All lovely pictures but maybe No.2 and 3 need just a touch more processing to make them pop as much as No.1? Or maybe you're happy with them as they look now and if that's the case maybe you're right
If it were me, I may be tempted to add a little more contrast, lift EXP and tad more colour to the 1st in post #7
for the second may be lower the highlights a tad, lift EXP and tad more contrast, colouring looks good.
Take what I say with a pinch of salt, my processing is alot of trail'n'error
Over all, lovely I'm envious, only seen one or two as their tails vanish into the bushes
