I took this two weeks ago on my mpe65mm.

I had a leaf that I was holding up in the background to prevent a black background. Unfortunately I had it too close and it did not blur out (could see leaf detail). So I replaced with one colour (the leafs) in PS.

Do you think it looks ok or is it unnatural ?

Id never have known... Id have just looked at the butterfly and asssumed it was distant foliage....so well done! (y)

Looks just like an out of focus BG Chris-- cracking colours by the way - 10/10 mate

I'm with Janice, wouldn't have known if you hadn't owned up.
As pay back I think you should to a tutorial to explain how you did it!

Great shot by the way

Chris, every time I do that it turns out most of the rest of the flippin' shot is the colour I'm trying to lose!!

Normally is the case for me too! Lucky there was really only one colour here. I've been trying topaz remask 3 out, that seems quite good, but still not mastered that. I'll try and get a tutorial done on this asap.

Looks natural enough to me, nice work!

Thanks - glad it looks ok
