Haystacks was in thick cloud when I'd walked over it an hour or so earlier. By the time I'd got to the top of High Crag, the cloud was beginning to dissipate, and when I looked behind, I got this fantastic view...

Last time I was there I'd walked from Langdale. Nice pic, personally I'd crop in and up from bottom right so you lose the foreground until just below the big rock and right of the track in the middle distance.

Thanks Wayne. Aah, I pondered over it for a long time. I actually took various shots, with different framing, including portrait, and finally settled on this one. I do take your point though. The camera is an X100, so fixed focal length, otherwise I'd have cropped in at the time of taking.

Thanks Geof. Sorry about that. I thought posted images were responsive nowadays, but I see it doesn't take into account vertical height. Now fixed. Glad you like the shot. :)
