That is a nice enough shot Mark,light looks like it was against you and a bit flat, taken on the island?

Ade this was around 4am in the morning hence the low shutter speed. I had to desaturate the green as it was to bright with hasnt help with the flatness. Will look at re-processing to see if i can get a bit more from it. Cheers. When are you in Uist?

I can`t see the exif so didn`t know about the slow shutter speed bud.

Ade i head back that day. Will keep you informed of anything i find and where. Im meeting a few people up there as well so hoping we can find a few different species.

I`m sailing from Oban rather than driving up to Skye, costs a bit more, but no where near as tiring.

Yeah mate, i like the drive up and from uig its only 1.75hrs once on the boat. Its a bit long for the dogs if we take the Oban boat. I will call you a day or two after i get there mate.

Hey Rich, get yourself up there mate-you wont regret it.Im going with the family but will meet up with Chas most days. Hungary first mate-6 days and counting then a few weeks later its Uist--going to be a good 4 weeks..

Gramps--this was after a week of trying at the same time each morning...lol...Tried various things to get close but failed each morning and it would only sit on a post until around 4.30am then it was off into the reeds. I got this on the last morning which always seems to be the case with me...

Yeah mate all the money i invest in camouflage and then you expect me to add a lens which is painted white like a lighthouse on the end of my camera- only thing that you lens will do successfully is club the seal cubs to death as i have seen images of it happening. Lol

Nah that was the pentax white lenses the only thing they are good for unless it's a door stop. You and Chas have a good time and keep me posted on Hungary.
