Snow-capped Eglwyseg Rocks, Llangollen (mono)

The recent snowy conditions here in North Wales have produced some scenes which just seem perfect for conversion to black & white..here's one taken a couple of weekends ago of Eglwyseg Rocks near Llangollen, this was taken from the Horseshoe Pass

Lovely shot, especially like the ridges on the hill tops.
Used to love going to Llangollen in my younger days. Had a little caravan in Llandrillo, awesome fishing round there

In my opinion missing subject here what could hold my eyes little bit longer. In summary is not too bad but..., could be better .

Thanks for the comments...to be honest I didn't really have much option with the composition as the viewpoint is through a series of trees, the black & white conversion was done using the Nik Efex Silver Pro plug-in for Photoshop which is excellent

No, it's not really suited to it...I might explore the area a little further down the valley but I have a feeling the vantage point here is the best angle for the shot...not excetly sure when it will be covered in snow again either, it's not all that often

Well, IR filter or camera converted to IR might be a good idea .
