Snow Gull

Hello all,

I have just joined these fine forums and thought I would post a picture I took during the snow over Easter for comment. Although I am still a beginner I was quite proud of this photo.

There were a group of gulls and geese by the lake and I took several pictures of them, this one just seemed to jump out the most. It was taken on a Canon EOS 400d with a Canon EF 75-300mm III USM lens, and then edited using Photoshop.

Same here, and you managed to keep the snow White rather than a tasteful shade of Blue well done

Thanks for the nice remarks. Don't know if it was the post processing which got those whites or not. I shoot in RAW and then, in this case, convert using Photoshop.

The image seems smaller than I would have liked, it is 800 pixels across. Oh well at least you can make it out.

Edit: I just looked and it says it is only 500. Not sure what happened there my local copy is 800. Maybe the host site has resized it?
