Some recent Dales landscapes

A selection of recent Dales lanscapes from Ikley, Coniston and Fountains Abbey. I'd love some feedback, particularly on processing.

More often or not sunlight tends to work better in landscapes. The 1st is really rather lovely due to the subtle light and the lead in from the wall makes for a pleasing image. The light is too harsh in the last and the others due to various factors don't work so well for me

Regarding processing, oranges seem boosted a bit too far - I was wondering if the orange patches were poppies while the images were opening (slowly) until I realised it was heather.

Your first and last images have used light well, though the last could use a contrast boost & lose some shadow detail, plus the church tower is haloed.

Try a mono conversion on number 6 to see if you can bring it alive.

1 and 6 are nice compositions and would be worth revisiting in softer light.
