Some scenes for C+C

C+C very welcome please! on composition, editing, filters I could use etc

1. On the brink.
I added some directional lighting via photoshop to this, seemed to give a nice atmosphere. I also cloned out some branches on the left frame

2. Old water pump

4. Was a shame the sky was so pants (just all grey)

6. and a HDR for good measure!

I really like no4 but you are right the sky dosent help and perhaps cloning out the electric wires and post

I like the water pump and meandering stream pics,just wondering whether colour versions might lift them a bit more ?

1 looks like you tilted the picture just to straighten a leaning tree. idea is good though.
2 looks a bit odd. Like an out of focus shot sharpened too much. Should have lots of crisp textures but it doesn't. Could have been good.
3 is not bad. needs a passing balloon or something to add interest
4 is worth a return visit. nice scene
5 is nice and sharp but not very interesting
6 I don't do hdr

thanks guys great to have some crit, I will be revisiting these locations, some more then others, and will try some reshoots
1. I never even noticed it was tilted! Doh!
2. yeh tbh i think it is is a little OOF, something isn't quite right about it
