South-West England Somerset in May

We're going to Somerset in the third week in May. Hopefully it'll have dried out a bit by then!

I'd be grateful of any good vantage points for landscapes.

Hey I would definitely go to see Cheddar gorge and it's surrounding locations although beware, it might have been flooded if I heard right, don't forget Glastonbury Tor spectacular area especially at night. Brean Down fort is a nice walk and Stourhead Gardens is a great place for landscape photography any time of the year too, and even if you will run out of places to see then definitely check out National Trust heritage.

May be a bit early but you could see if the lavendar's out at Horsepond Farm. Porlock Weir and Kilve beach are great for seascapes.
